Investment Challenge 2026
Join The Albert Gubay Business School on Friday, 26th of June for a live, fast-paced stock market simulation for Year 11 and 12 students.
Put your decision-making skills to the test in our virtual stock market challenge. Students will buy and sell shares in real time, respond to breaking news, and compete to achieve the highest return on their investment portfolio.
Open to all pupils, whatever GCSE or A level subjects they are studying.
During the simulation, pupils will take on roles such as investment manager and analyst trader, working together to build strategies using business news, company information and live market data.
Pupils will develop key skills including:
- Planning
- Organising
- Communication
- Relationship building
- Problem solving
The team with the highest return wins the challenge and will present a short overview of their trading strategy.
